Philadelphia Poker Championship Series Main Event Day 1A

Event #2 of our Philadelphia Poker Championship Series is our Main Event. This $2,200 buy in $250,000 guaranteed event features 45 minute levels day 1, 60 minute levels day 2, and a 40K starting stack. Rivers Poker proudly worked together with local poker pros to offer a great structure for this price point. To date this event is the largest buy in poker tournament ever at Rivers Philadelphia.

Day 1A featured a healthy mix of Rivers core tournament players, regional pros and some new faces. Thanks to everyone who came out to support our first flight, there was some terrific poker played yesterday!

84 entries was the Friday total - setting us up for a prize pool that will surpass our guarantee. At the end of level 14, 13 players remained to advance to day 2.

Remember that you can still join the Main Event action today through our first 12 Day 1 levels (and dinner break!).
