The end results for the final score are somewhat limited which gives bettors a smaller window of outcomes. The runline sports bet is typically set at 1 run or 1.5 runs.

Sportsbook betting can also include reverse runline bets. This wager flips the favorite team and the underdog team. Whoever is making this sports bet would look at the normal runline and reverse the odds. If one team was originally favored to win the game, they would be expected to lose with the reverse runline bet. The underdog basically takes over the more favorable odds.
