Comedian Anjelah Johnson-Reyes to Perform at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady in October

Schenectady, NY (March 11, 2025) – Guests are in for a night of laughs when comedian Anjelah Johnson-Reyes brings her global “The Family Reunion” comedy tour to the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Pre-sale tickets for Anjelah Johnson-Reyes will be available for Rivers Rush Rewards members this Thursday, March 13, at 10 a.m., followed by a general public sale Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $39, plus taxes and fees, and will be available at RiversCasino.com/Schenectady. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Anjelah Johnson-Reyes is one of the most successful stand-up comedians today with six comedy specials streaming on various platforms and selling out theaters across the world. Her most recent special, Say I Won’t, debuted on YouTube in May 2023 with over 7-million views and counting. Born and raised in San Jose, California, and of Mexican and Native American descent, Anjelah has guest starred on shows such as Life & Beth, Superstore, The Shield, Ugly Betty, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Her film roles include Enough Said, Our Family Wedding, and Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. 

Anjelah published her first memoir titled, Who Do I Think I Am?: Stories of Chola Wishes and Caviar Dreams, in March 2022. Most recently, Anjelah joined Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross in the Amazon Prime feature, Candy Cane Lane. In February 2024, she returned for the second season of the Hulu original series, Life & Beth, and hosted the 8-episode Tubi original series, My Crazy Quince, which premiered in May 2024. She also recently launched her new comedy and mental health podcast, Funjelah.

Soulful Sounds with Acute Inflections - Guests are in for a captivating evening of sensational music and laughter when New York City’s jazzy R&B duo, Acute Inflections, takes the Event Center stage on Saturday, May 24, 2025. This intimate performance will be an unforgettable experience, featuring dynamic duets, witty banter, and engaging freestyles, in an exclusive table-seating format for maximum enjoyment. Tickets are available at RiversCasino.com/Schenectady. Tickets are $35, plus taxes and fees, and must be purchased in groups of two or four to accommodate the intimate table-seating arrangement.
